Excellent with one reservation

I found this to be very easy to use. The only reservation I have is you have to know the speed range of any rifle projectile.
The ranges are 100 - 1700fps & 1700 - 5000fps. I was playing with some low powered loads which seemed to bounce between the 2 speed ranges...meaning not all shots were detected.
Apart from that one thing...the Garmin was faultless.

Used chronographs for many years but recently had to switch to radar ones as we shoot on a military range & no longer allowed stuff forward of firing point. Tried Labradar but it is difficult to get it to work properly. The Garmin is small but very easy to use & picked up all shots fired over 5 outings. Does not work on an indoor 10m range (manual says minimum 20m)

So easy to use. Turn on, enter 2 or 3 parameters , place chrono where it tells you to, and away you go….

Saw one of these being used on a range I was running and was so impressed I purchased one. Very intuitive to set up and even easier to use - turn on, set bullet weight, put device at the specified distance from the rifle and away you go.
Excellent service from Northern Optics too, might I add.
